Stela - The Solution

Reliability

As with all conventional lighting, one of the biggest issues is ensuring it keeps working.

Conventional lamps have a relatively short effective life expectancy of between two and four years. After this time they need to be changed, which is time-consuming and costly. Many residents find that between 5% and 20% of lamps will fail before this short time frame.

Stela LED street lights have a life expectancy of 100,000 hours and should not need to be replaced during the design life of the fitting, so you are far less likely to be left in the dark.

Maintaining failed lighting is one of the largest operating costs associated with street lighting. Sending vehicles out to clean and replace fittings also makes a substantial impact on the carbon footprint of the lamp.

LED street lighting presents the opportunity to make dramatic reductions on cost, energy consumption and carbon emissions whilst significantly improving satisfaction levels with residents.
